"Dusty" Shultz to its Geopolitical Intelligence Group. The Academy GIG consists of 43 US and UK Admirals & Generals, former NASA Astronauts, and former CIA/FBI Leadership. Academy has been advising clients for over a decade and is the preeminent Advisory on geostrategic risk to the markets.

Major General Shultz retired from the United States Army after more than three decades of service, concluding her military career as Director of Intelligence at U.S. Southern Command. Prior to that, she served as Army’s Director of Strategic Operations where she advised the Chief of Staff of the Army on Cyberspace Operations, Electronic Warfare, and Information Operations. Earlier, she commanded the 1st Mission Support Command at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, leading the Army Reserve response to Hurricanes Maria and Irma. She also served as a Joint Planner at U.S. Southern Command J9 and as Commander of the 373rd Military Intelligence Battalion.

General Shultz holds a B.A. in Political Science from Texas Tech University, an M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from American Military University, and an M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National War College. She is also a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
