NeuReality Taps Former Amazon and Maersk Executive Rotem Hershko as Strategic Advisor to Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption

Hershko joins as NeuReality accelerates rollout of NR-NEXUS to help organizations scale AI inference with improved performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.

TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NeuReality, a pioneer in purpose-built AI inference infrastructure, today announced that Rotem Hershko, former General Manager at Amazon Global and Chief Product Officer at Maersk, has joined the company as a strategic advisor. He will support enterprise strategy, product positioning, and go-to-market alignment for NR-NEXUS, NeuReality’s inference operating system for production AI.

"Rotem’s perspective will help us sharpen that bridge between infrastructure and real-world deployment.” - Moshe Tanach, CEO, NeuReality

Hershko brings more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale product, technology, and business transformation initiatives within global enterprises. At Amazon, he played a key role in scaling its global marketplace, one of the company’s most complex platforms, supporting millions of third-party sellers while maintaining a high bar for customer experience. At Maersk, he led product strategy and digital transformation across a highly distributed, global operating environment.

His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for enterprise AI. While access to models has rapidly expanded, organizations now confront the realities of deploying AI in production, facing fragmented infrastructure, rising API costs, inconsistent performance, and limited operational visibility. As a result, many enterprises remain reliant on API-based approaches that prioritize speed to adoption over long-term efficiency, control, and scalability.

NR-NEXUS is designed to address these challenges by providing a unified system layer to run, manage, and optimize inference across heterogeneous environments. The platform enables enterprises to dynamically route workloads across open-source models, APIs, and infrastructure, optimizing for performance, cost, and business requirements in real time.

Hershko will help ensure NR-NEXUS is positioned not just as infrastructure, but as a practical operating system for enterprise AI deployment at scale. He will work closely with NeuReality’s leadership team to refine enterprise strategy and go-to-market execution, drawing on his experience scaling complex platforms to align the product with real-world requirements. His focus will include improving performance, cost efficiency, and operational control, while supporting customers from initial deployment through production at scale.

“Rotem has operated at the intersection of scale, complexity, and customer needs within some of the world’s most demanding environments,” said Moshe Tanach, CEO of NeuReality. “That perspective is critical as AI moves beyond experimentation. Enterprise adoption now hinges on execution and how organizations run AI in production with efficiency, control, and accountability. Rotem’s perspective will help us sharpen that bridge between infrastructure and real-world deployment.”

“At Amazon, a core challenge was enabling a highly distributed ecosystem to scale without losing control over quality and outcomes,” said Hershko. “Enterprise AI is entering a similar phase. Organizations want more flexibility, transparency, and economic efficiency, yet many solutions still introduce fragmentation or lock them into costly models. With NR-NEXUS, NeuReality is building a more practical foundation that enables AI to operate as a true infrastructure.”

NeuReality continues to advance NR-NEXUS as a foundational layer for enterprise AI, helping organizations move from fragmented experimentation to efficient, production-scale deployment. As demand grows for greater control, performance, and cost transparency, the company is focused on enabling AI to operate as true infrastructure across diverse environments.
