Playboy's Spring 2026 Issue, Starring Karol G, Officially Hits Newsstands Nationwide

The cover story generated global headlines ahead of the star’s history-making Coachella performance

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Playboy, one of the world's most globally recognized and culturally influential brands, unveils its Spring 2026 print issue, starring Grammy Award-winning global artist Karol G as its cover star.

The cover arrives at a milestone moment for Karol G, which was revealed just days before she made history as the first Latina to headline Coachella. Photographed by Gray Sorrenti and styled by Katie Grand, the spread captures the Colombian multihyphenate with striking intimacy and Playboy’s iconic, elevated sex appeal.

In a conversation with Emmy Award-winning journalist Paola Ramos, Karol G opened up about the weight of her global platform and the responsibility that comes with it, sharing how she continues to show up authentically for her community while navigating unprecedented levels of fame and visibility. The story—and its images—made global headlines this past week, generating 3 billion impressions, and more than 40,000,000 views on Instagram alone.

This issue marks the first under Chief Brand Officer and Editor-in-Chief Phillip Picardi, whose appointment was announced last month. Signaling a new chapter for the brand including a quarterly print publication, the issue invites readers on a journey that navigates: the sex recession (The Playboy Guide to Meeting Women); the male loneliness epidemic (with author Andrew McCarthy); how AI is disrupting sex and intimacy; and more of Playboy’s signature journalism, with contributions from motorsports journalist Chris Medland and feature reporting by Sean Williams.
