Through collaborations with established esports organizations, like Evil Geniuses, Newegg continues to expand its presence in gaming beyond e-commerce, supporting live competition, content creation, and partnerships across the esports ecosystem.

“Hosting collegiate competition alongside Evil Geniuses is an exciting step in bringing more structured esports programming into our ecosystem,” said Katie Lau, Director of Corporate Marketing at Newegg. “We’re focused on creating opportunities for players to compete, for brands to connect with audiences, and for the gaming community to engage both in-person and online.”

Collegiate Talent Meets Professional Infrastructure

The tournament demonstrated how collegiate programs and professional esports organizations can collaborate through shared infrastructure and live event environments.
