LEHI, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Owlet, Inc. (“Owlet” or the “Company”) (NYSE:OWLT), the pioneer of smart infant monitoring, today reports financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025. Owlet’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Kurt Workman; President, Jonathan Harris; and Chief Financial Officer, Amanda Twede Crawford, will host a conference call to review the Company’s results and provide a business and corporate update today, August 7, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Q2 2025 Financial Highlights
- Q2 Revenue of $26.1 million, up 25.9% from Q2 2024

CEO Transition Effective October 1, 2025
Owlet today also announced that Jonathan Harris, Owlet’s current President, will succeed Kurt Workman as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025, and Mr. Workman will transition to Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Financial Results for the Second Quarter Ended June 30, 2025
Revenue for the second quarter of 2025 was $26.1 million compared to revenue in the second quarter of 2024 of $20.7 million, an increase of 25.9%. The increase was primarily due to higher sales of Dream Sock and Dream Duo products.
Cost of revenue for the second quarter of 2025 was $12.7 million with a gross margin of 51.3%, compared to cost of revenue of $10.4 million with a gross margin of 49.5% for the second quarter of 2024. Gross margin increased 180 basis points year-over-year, primarily due to higher revenue, favorable product mix toward Dream Sock, lower direct product and fulfillment costs, and fixed cost absorption, partially offset by the impact of tariffs.
Operating expenses, including stock-based compensation, were $15.3 million for the second quarter of 2025, compared to $12.5 million for the same period in 2024. Operating costs increased year-over-year primarily due to higher compensation expense, including accrued bonuses.
Operating loss was $1.9 million for the second quarter of 2025, compared to operating loss of $2.2 million for the second quarter of 2024.
Net loss was $37.6 million for the second quarter of 2025, including a $34.8 million common stock warrant liability mark-to-market adjustment, compared to net loss of $1.1 million for the second quarter of 2024.
Adjusted EBITDA was $0.3 million for the second quarter of 2025, compared to a $0.1 million for the second quarter of 2024, an improvement of $0.2 million.
Net loss per share was $2.37 for the second quarter of 2025, compared to net loss per share of $0.30 for the second quarter of 2024. Adjusted net loss per share was $0.05 for the second quarter of 2025, compared to adjusted net income per share of $0.00 for the same period in 2024.
Updated 2025 Financial Outlook
For the full year 2025, we now expect revenue in the range of $97 million to $100 million, or 24% to 28% growth year-over-year, gross margins in the range of 46% to 50% including the impact of new expected tariff costs, and we now fully expect to be adjusted EBITDA profitable for full year 2025.
