Zencity Expands to Education Sector, Bringing its Trusted Community Engagement Platform to School Districts

Early adoption in Florida and Chicago shows how AI-powered tools drive more inclusive outcomes

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zencity, the AI platform turning public input into government action, is expanding into the education sector, marking a new chapter in Zencity’s mission to become the trusted intelligence layer for all public institutions.

"With increasing responsibility falling on local administrations, leaders need better ways to hear from everyone they serve, not just the few who show up the loudest.”

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is among the first to adopt the platform, using Zencity to gather multilingual community feedback during its recent CEO search. In just weeks, CPS collected input from nearly 2,700 parents, educators, and residents in Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Polish, and English, surfacing a diverse, representative view of resident and parent priorities. The insights helped district leaders shape candidate criteria and sharpen the leadership profile for the next CEO.

“Critical decisions are too often influenced only by those with the time, access, or privilege to make their voices heard,” said Eyal Feder-Levy, CEO and co-founder of Zencity. “That’s especially important in education, where every decision impacts every student, their family and their future. With increasing responsibility falling on local administrations, leaders need better ways to hear from everyone they serve, not just the few who show up the loudest.”

As school systems navigate funding challenges, redistricting, and beyond, traditional engagement methods fall short. Zencity addresses the gap by consolidating input from surveys, social media, news coverage, and other channels, giving decision-makers a continuous, inclusive and data-driven understanding of community sentiment.

Already trusted by over 400 cities, counties, and public safety agencies across the U.S., Canada, and U.K., Zencity is now bringing this proven decision-making approach and platform to school systems and other public institutions. In addition to Chicago, several other district leaders across North America, including in Florida’s Polk County Public Schools, are using Zencity to engage residents on a variety of decisions, from changes to school start times to school choice.

“Partnering with these forward-thinking school boards is just the beginning,” said Feder-Levy. “All across the government — from public safety to health to transit — local leaders are making tough calls under intense scrutiny, and education is one of the most important sectors of them all. Zencity is proud to help these visionary leaders address the priorities of their entire community.”
