Frazier Healthcare Partners Announces Team Promotions and Additions

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frazier Healthcare Partners, a leading healthcare investment firm, today announced several promotions and additions to the team.

Frazier is pleased to announce the following promotions across the firm: Andrew Wu has been promoted to Vice President, while Daniel Ewnetu and Luke Ostrander have been promoted to Senior Associate on the Investment Professional team. Carol Eckert has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Investor Relations.

In addition, several new team members have joined Frazier’s Investment Professional team. Mike Gawlik has joined the firm as a Vice President, and will be based in Frazier’s newly opened New York office, which opened in June 2025. The firm also welcomes four new Associates, two based in New York and two in Seattle.

Andrew Wu originally joined Frazier as an MBA Intern in July 2022 and joined full-time as a Senior Associate in July 2023. He has played key roles across several of our portfolio companies, including United Derm Partners, RevSpring, and KnipperHealth. Prior to joining Frazier, Mr. Wu spent three years at Zymergen, a publicly traded biotechnology company. Prior to Zymergen, he was at UBS, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets activities for large-cap healthcare companies. Mr. Wu received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his BA in Economics from Yale University.

Daniel Ewnetu originally joined Frazier as an intern in 2018 and returned as an Associate in August 2023. Prior to joining Frazier, Mr. Ewnetu was an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank in New York, advising technology, media, and telecom companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Mr. Ewnetu received his BA in Economics at Northwestern University.

Luke Ostrander joined Frazier as an associate in July 2023 from TD Cowen in New York, where he focused on both public and private M&A advisory. Mr. Ostrander received his BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.

Carol Eckert joined Frazier in 2016 as head of Investor Relations, marketing, and PR and communications, and has raised three funds, FHGB IX, X, and XI. Ms. Eckert came to Frazier following 15 years in accounting consulting; prior to that she spent seven years at Immunex Corporation. Early in her career she was with Westin Hotels and Deloitte Touche. Ms. Eckert earned her BS in Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Mike Gawlik joins Frazier after four years at New Mountain Capital in New York, where he focused on leveraged buyout investments. There, he was responsible for the origination, evaluation, and management of new investments across a variety of healthcare subsectors. Prior to New Mountain, Mr. Gawlik was at WindRose Health Investors, and in the Healthcare group at Jefferies. He obtained his MBA from the Wharton School and holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California.
