UBILITE Appoints Jean F. Rankin and Bob Tirva as Independent Board Directors

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UBILITE, a leader in ultra-low power wireless connectivity, today announced the appointment of Jean F. Rankin and Bob Tirva as independent board directors.

These strategic additions bolster UBILITE’s board with deep expertise in corporate governance, M&A, and global technology leadership, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strong oversight and shareholder value creation.

Jean F. Rankin has served on the board of InterDigital, Inc., a mobile, video, and AI technology R&D company, since 2010, and was also a director at Resonant Inc. until its acquisition in 2022. She previously held senior executive roles including EVP, General Counsel, and Secretary at LSI Corporation, where she oversaw legal, IP licensing, and stock administration. Rankin’s experience also includes key roles at Agere Systems and Lucent Technologies, focusing on mergers, securities, and labor law. She earned a BA from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania.

Most recently, he served as President, COO, and CFO of Sonim Technologies. He currently sits on the boards of POET Technologies and Skyworks Aeronautics, and previously served on the boards of Costar Technologies and Resonant Inc. Tirva holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
