Seven Ardent Health Facilities Earn “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group
BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ardent Health (NYSE: ARDT), a leading provider of healthcare in growing mid-sized urban communities across the U.S., today announced that seven of its facilities earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.
"At Ardent, safety is our highest priority, ensuring the well-being of every patient, team member and visitor in our care," said Ardent Health President and CEO Marty Bonick. "This recognition reflects our deep commitment to patient-centered care and a strong culture of safety – made possible by the dedication of our teams who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional care each day."
For spring 2025, 81% of Ardent’s eligible facilities earned an “A” or “B” Hospital Safety Grade compared to 56% of eligible hospitals nationally. The seven Ardent facilities that earned an “A” grade include:
- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center (Westwood, New Jersey)
