Food Allergy Fund Research Week Launches in April to Advance Life-Saving Solutions

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With food allergies affecting 33 million Americans and causing a life-threatening reaction every three minutes, the Food Allergy Fund (FAF) is launching its inaugural Food Allergy Research Week from April 28-30 in New York City to drive support and accelerate breakthroughs in prevention and treatment ahead of Food Allergy Awareness Month, which begins May 1.

During Food Allergy Fund Research Week, FAF will exclusively host:

  • FAF Annual Summit–This year’s Food Allergy Fund Summit, which will take place on April 30 at the Paley Center for Media in New York City, will unite key global stakeholders including leading doctors and scientists, CEOs of early-stage therapeutics and technology, government officials, advocates, industry and investors. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from and network with speakers on the latest advancements in research, diet diversity, the microbiome, and cutting-edge technologies like AI and CRISPR.
  • FAF Research Retreat–A two-day private event for scientists and business leaders to share and develop collaborative research projects.
  • FAF Signature Research Evening–The Food Allergy Fund’s Signature Research Evening on April 29, 2025, will bring together leading experts, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists for meaningful discussions and updates from our Research Retreat.
