The French-American Entrepreneurship Award (FAEA) launches the 15th Edition of its Startup Competition; Accepting Entries from March 18th to May 7th, 2024

The FAEA will recognize high-potential U.S.-based early-stage startups led by French Entrepreneurs

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The French-American Entrepreneurship Award (FAEA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024, and 15th, edition of its leading startup competition. Since 2008, the FAEA has remained dedicated to fostering awareness and development of high-potential U.S.-based early-stage startups founded by French entrepreneurs.

Over the years, hundreds of entrepreneurs have applied to the FAEA across all industries, with a handful winning this precious recognition, and many becoming successful ventures. Startups are evaluated for their innovative, viable, and scalable business models by a Jury consisting of leading executives, entrepreneurs, seasoned investors, and partners of the FAEA.

In addition to comprehensive media coverage, winners receive cash and in-kind prizes along with invaluable networking opportunities and introductions within the French business community in the U.S. and the broader startup ecosystem. “Winning the FAEA increased our visibility and facilitated critical business introductions that further propelled our business forward," says Bruno Jactel, CEO and founder of HyperCell Technologies, winner of the FAEA in June 2023. HyperCell recently won the NY State Grow-NY competition and its $1 million grand prize.

Previous winners include Groover–which announced last month a successful $8m Series A–Braave, Walter, Noovo, Infinite Cooling, Extend, Connecting Food, Dr. Elsa Jungman, AlgoExpert, Adopt-A-Contractor, and Fruition Sciences.

The FAEA is organized with the unwavering support of the French economic community in the U S., notably:

  • Business France
  • Consulate General of France in New York
  • French American Chamber of Commerce New York
  • FrenchFounders
  • French Morning
