Rensa Filtration Acquires Aero Filter, Expanding Local Sales and Service Across Michigan
AURORA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rensa Filtration, a vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of consumable, mission-critical air filtration solutions, announced today that it has acquired Aero Filter, Inc. (“Aero Filter”), one of Michigan's leading air filtration distribution and service companies.
Founded in the Detroit area in 1978, Aero Filter provides high-quality air filtration solutions to customers across Michigan, including schools, manufacturing facilities, healthcare organizations, and other commercial and institutional buildings.
Brandon Ost, CEO and Founder of Rensa Filtration, noted, "We’re excited to partner with Chuck Dankanics and Dave Polens, who have led Aero Filter through almost 40 years of significant growth. Chuck and Dave have built a great filter business that is a perfect fit with Rensa. Their sales teams have an intense focus on recommending the best air filters for a wide range of technical applications, and their service teams provide comprehensive on-site support, including filter changeout services and energy consumption audits. We look forward to partnering with Aero Filter’s employees and customers to provide best-in-class filtration products and services.”
Aero Filter joins Rensa's growing network of regional distributors, strengthening its ability to serve end users directly through local technical sales and service teams. That network is backed by Rensa's vertically integrated model — from filter media design and production, to filter manufacturing, to regional distribution and on-site service.
Rensa Filtration is a portfolio company of AEA Investors (“AEA”) and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (“BCI”). The acquisition of Aero Filter marks the first acquisition announced by Rensa during its partnership with AEA and BCI. “We are pleased to support the Rensa team as they continue to expand their footprint serving air filtration end-users with local technical sales and service teams,” noted Vinay Kumar, a partner at AEA.
“Rensa delivers a unique value proposition to its customers with its vertically integrated supply chain, which includes proprietary filter media, filter manufacturing, and filter installation and replacement services. We look forward to supporting the Rensa team as it continues to expand its air filtration product offering and geographic reach.”
