JetBlue Aligns Flight Operations, Inflight and Technical Operations Under Jeffrey Winter

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JetBlue (NASDAQ: JBLU) today announced the promotion of Jeffrey Winter to Senior Vice President, Flight Operations, Inflight Experience and Technical Operations, where he will oversee three of the airline's largest operational organizations and join JetBlue's Senior Leadership Team.

Winter's appointment is part of an evolution of JetBlue's operations organization that brings Flight Operations, Inflight and Technical Operations under one executive leader. The new structure is designed to strengthen coordination across key operational functions, create clearer accountability, improve day-to-day execution and support the company's JetForward strategy.

Previously JetBlue's Vice President, Flight Operations, Winter joined the airline in 2015 and has held senior leadership roles across Flight Operations and JetBlue University following a distinguished 26-year career in the U.S. Navy. He will continue to report to JetBlue Chief Operating Officer Warren Christie.

"Reliable operations are foundational to JetForward and to delivering the experience our customers expect," said Warren Christie, JetBlue's chief operating officer. "Bringing Flight Operations, Inflight and Technical Operations together under Jeff's leadership creates even closer alignment across our operation, simplifies decision-making and strengthens accountability. Jeff is a proven operational leader, and I'm confident he'll help us continue improving performance and building an even stronger operation."

"I'm honored to take on this expanded role and continue serving alongside the incredible crewmembers who set JetBlue apart," said Winter. "Every day, I see the professionalism, skill and commitment our teams bring to the operation. I look forward to working with them as we continue building a safe, reliable airline and delivering the caring service our customers count on."
