Acquisition adds two northwest Indiana clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Center to growing interventional pain management platform
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. & MUNSTER, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Iron Path Capital, a private equity firm focused on building differentiated businesses in the healthcare and specialty industrials sectors, is pleased to announce that CPIhealth (CPI), a leading interventional pain management platform, has acquired Midwest Interventional Spine Specialists (M.I.S.S.) and Serenity Surgical Center.

The partnership adds two clinics and an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) to CPI’s existing Indiana footprint, expanding CPI’s presence into northwest Indiana and neighboring Illinois near the Chicago area. This strategic move also brings five physicians and two nurse practitioners onto CPI’s platform, allowing CPI to offer high-quality, comprehensive pain management services and expertise to more patients.

For more than 20 years, M.I.S.S. has provided chronic pain management and spine care to patients in northwest Indiana, as well as neighboring Illinois, from its locations in Munster and Chesterton. CPI and M.I.S.S offer a comprehensive range of services, including spinal cord stimulation, intradiscal procedures, percutaneous disc decompression, injections and non-surgical spine care.
