The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (The Council) facilitates the CICE Committee as part of its overall mission to foster industry-wide relationships between organizations that have a stake in industry issues, promoting these stakeholder interests and the valuable role they each play in the mitigation of risk.

The CICE Committee consists of six representatives of prominent commercial insurance providers that provide the carrier viewpoint and associated feedback on various industry topics for The Council and its events, which connect commercial insurance marketplace leaders.

“It is an honor to have been nominated and selected to serve on this prestigious committee with counterparts from other major insurance carriers. I look forward to offering my perspective as a leader of a top U.S. specialty insurance carrier and of international broker relationships for the broader Tokio Marine Group, which is one of the top insurance groups in the world,” said Mark Wilhelm. “Through our collective perspectives and deep expertise, the CICE Committee aspires to help shape the conversation among insurance stakeholders for the betterment of the industry today and into the future.”

The CICE Committee will meet at The Council’s 2026 annual Insurance Leadership Forum in October.
