ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ELOKON, a provider of intralogistics safety and telematics systems, has appointed Alex B. Johns as president of ELOKON North America, effective immediately. “Over the last five years, ELOKON's business in North America has grown substantially in revenue, customer complexity, and strategic importance, thanks in large part to Alex’s clear, empowered leadership in the region,” Glasmacher said. “This appointment formally recognizes what Alex has already become: the senior executive responsible for our US business in its entirety. Not only has he built and led our sales organization, but he’s developed key customer and partner relationships, and time and time again stepped up to take ownership—commercially, operationally and culturally.”
Prior to joining ELOKON, Johns served in sales leadership positions for companies such as Acuity Brands, AMS Factory Automation, and RAIT88 Technologies. When not traveling for ELOKON, Johns splits his time between Atlanta, GA where ELOKON North America is headquartered, and Alabama. A graduate of Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business, Johns has spent over a decade building and leading domestic and international sales and marketing organizations.
“I am honored to be part of a company that designs, manufactures, and deploys solutions focused on the well-being of the men and women who keep our country’s supply chain operating,” Johns said. “Safety in the material handling industry isn’t a dance where you can afford to step on your partners toes. Having an opportunity to help choreograph that dance is what drives us as a company in everything we do.”
