Three separate tours are available for visitors who will now be able to get a glimpse into the unique River Aging process that has produced numerous award-winning whiskies: the Barge to Bottle Classic Tour, the private tour and tasting Chartered Experience, and a curated evening with exclusives tastings, chef dinner and overnight stay, with the Mellow on the Mississippi Retreat.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open our grounds to the public and announce our partnership with One Mississippi – an organization that cares as deeply as we do about the Mississippi,” said Founder Hank Ingram. “Not only are we blessed with such a beautiful property overlooking the river, it is the history of this place that makes it truly special. Visitors will be able to soak all that in while getting a first-hand look into how we age our whiskies on the Mississippi River. It’s this combination of history and innovation, of art and science, that inspired The Ingram Distillery. We are proud to share our story and our home with the public.”
The partnership with One Mississippi was born out of a shared love of the river and the belief in a duty to protect and maintain it for generations. To celebrate Earth Day (April 22), 10% of all sales from April 22-26 at The Ingram Distillery and on its online store will go towards supporting the nonprofit. The Ingram Distillery is also excited to support One Mississippi and their annual River Days of Action taking place June 1-15. Mark your calendars for June 2 – Mississippi River Day – and stay tuned for more details.
“The unique and deep connection of their award-winning whiskies to the Mississippi River make The Ingram Distillery a natural partner in One Mississippi’s work to protect this great waterway,” said Kelly McGinnis, Executive Director for One Mississippi. “Like us, The Ingram Distillery recognizes the natural, recreational, and cultural treasures of the Mississippi River. This Earth Day celebration is the beginning of a relationship that we are confident will have a tremendous impact on our efforts, and most importantly, the Mighty Mississippi.”
The Ingram Distillery is located in Columbus, KY on a bluff above the Mississippi River, sitting right beside Columbus-Belmont State Park.
Those interested in booking tours can go to The Ingram Distillery’s Visit page to learn more about the different offerings. Availability is limited, so parties are encouraged to make their booking sooner than later.
The launch of hospitality experiences comes on the heels of another amazing year for The Ingram Distillery. In 2025, it released its latest vintage of the ultra-premium O.H. Ingram Flagship Bourbon in October, and added Uncharted, a new Kentucky wheated bourbon, to its fleet in September. The Ingram Distillery also added distribution in Alaska and Texas, meaning its ever-growing fleet of award-winning whiskies is now available in eight states.

About The Ingram Distillery
The Ingram Distillery was founded in 2015, when Hank Ingram pioneered the first permanent floating rickhouses to age award-winning whiskies in Western Kentucky.
Moored on the banks of the Mississippi River in Columbus, KY, The Ingram Distillery’s barrelhouses were custom built inside former grain barges. They now house a 2-story barrel maturation operation that never leaves the water. While having a similar look to those on land, Ingram’s barrelhouses have a very different feel.
The Ingram Distillery creates the only bourbon in the world that spends its entire life on the water – years of exposure to the microclimate and humidity of the river, along with its constant motion, creates complexity through a unique interaction between whiskey and oak.
Presently available on shelves in Alaska, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin, as well as online through Ingram’s shop page.
