New Indie World Showcase Ushers in Indie Games Galore for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Nintendo showcased games with action, adventure, mystery, farm animals on bikes and more during its latest Indie World presentation. These upcoming titles from independent publishing and development partners will launch for the Nintendo Switch or the Nintendo Switch 2 systems – with several also launching for both platforms – throughout 2025 and beyond.

Among the many highlights, the presentation featured a wide range of distinct game experiences, including a free content update for more feline mischief-making in Little Kitty, Big City available this year; Mina the Hollower, a brand-new game from the developers of Shovel Knight, launching on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch Oct. 31 with a free demo available to play today; the chill, quirky puzzle game Is This Seat Taken?, launching later today; Herdling, where players can traverse stunning mountains and experience a grand alpine expedition that launches on Nintendo Switch Aug. 21; UFO 50, where players can select from 50 different games across various genres, available later today; and the dark fairy tale adventure Well Dweller launching on Nintendo Switch in 2026.
