PowerSchool Launches “Start with a Spark” Giveaway to Celebrate Educators This Back-to-School Season

Up to 25 educators will receive classroom funding by sharing what inspires them this school year

FOLSOM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PowerSchool, a leading provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education, is kicking off the 2025-2026 school year with a nationwide giveaway designed to celebrate and support educators. The Start with a Spark campaign invites K-12 school professionals to share what’s inspiring them this year and gives them a chance to win funding for their classroom wishlists.

How to Enter:

Beginning today through September 15, 2025, eligible participants can enter by:

  • Posting a reel or static post on their personal Instagram account
  • Sharing their “spark” – a moment, goal, resolution, or inspiration for the school year
  • Tagging @MyPowerSchool on Instagram
  • Using the hashtag #StartWithASpark
  • Including a link to their Amazon** or DonorsChoose** wish list or Instagram bio

Bonus entry: Educators can earn an additional entry by commenting on PowerSchool’s dedicated post, sharing their spark and tagging two co-workers who help them shine for their awareness of the program.

Eligibility

The giveaway is open to all current K-12 educators and school professionals only in the United States, including public, private, and charter school teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, principals, nurses, and support staff.

Prizes

PowerSchool will randomly select up to 25 winners in multiple selections during the campaign period. Each winner will receive a $500 gift card to help fulfill their classroom wishlist. Winners will be notified via Instagram DM from PowerSchool’s official account.
