Created by a new, majority Indigenous-owned partnership between Mokwateh and Connect Partnership Group, spark is a high-impact summit and expo designed to ignite relationships, investment, and innovation.

From upstream to downstream, from energy generation to equity partnerships, spark brings together Indigenous leaders, energy executives, investors, and decision-makers from across Canada in an environment rooted in authenticity and respect.

The inaugural event, chaired by J.P. Gladu and guided by a leadership council with deep experience in the Indigenous energy space, will be held on November 5–6, 2025 at the Grey Eagle Event Centre, Grey Eagle Resort & Casino on Tsuut’ina Nation.

The format, inspired by the success of Forward Summit, includes keynote talks, interactive panel discussions, roundtables, and commercial exhibitions, with meaningful networking at its core.
