“My office is constantly hearing about ‘How do we get access to internet providers? How do we modernize how we get information out to the public?’” said Gardner Mayor Michael Nicholson. “This is filling in that gap that we are hearing about constantly.”

Gardner joins Northampton as Gateway Fiber’s second city in Massachusetts and 26th city overall.

Nicholson went on to say Gateway Fiber has worked side-by-side with Gardner city officials to make the network buildout as smooth as possible. “They have already proven to be a great partner,” Nicholson explained. “Everything from checking in with us on what the residents need to donating free public Wi-Fi over at Monument Park and everything in between is really going to be helpful to our residents, so I want to say thank you to Gateway Fiber.”

With a mission to deliver reliable, future-ready internet solutions for more connected communities, Gateway Fiber combines cutting-edge technology, exceptional customer service, and transparent pricing to redefine what people expect from their internet experience. The company’s commitment extends beyond speed to empowering residents, businesses, and schools with seamless connectivity, advanced security features, and innovative tools like cloud-optimized Wi-Fi management. Gateway Fiber is building a stronger digital infrastructure that transforms lives and strengthens communities across the nation.

“Bringing our high-speed fiber internet service to Gardner means area residents and businesses finally have a truly reliable, fast connection that will transform how residents and businesses get online,” said Gateway Fiber CEO Chris Surdo.

Unlike traditional cable internet, Gateway Fiber provides simple, flat-rate, month-to-month pricing with no hidden fees, installation charges, or surprise rate hikes. Gateway Fiber also offers customers free whole-home Wi-Fi and outstanding customer service, nearly 70 points higher than the industry average.

Expanding its services into Gardner also continues Gateway Fiber’s commitment to investing in Massachusetts by creating local jobs and supporting the local area, including a new office and warehouse in Chicopee to serve the western Massachusetts market.
