SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Financial Women of San Francisco (FWSF) names nine students at Bay Area colleges and universities as its 2025 scholarship recipients. The FWSF scholarships—$10,000 for undergraduate and $15,000 for graduate students—support each recipient’s educational goals. Beyond financial support, scholarship recipients are assigned a successful female financial professional as a mentor and receive three years of FWSF membership to attend career development and networking events.
“This scholarship sends a powerful message from the FWSF community saying, ‘We see you, and we believe in your potential."

Since 1985, FWSF has awarded more than $3 million in scholarship grants to Bay Area women. Their scholarship program aims to empower aspiring financial women and create a supportive environment within these fields.
“As a former scholarship recipient and now President of FWSF, I’ve experienced firsthand how one moment of support can transform a life,” said Mona Ahmadi, the organization’s current president. “This scholarship sends a powerful message from the FWSF community saying, ‘We see you, and we believe in your potential.’ That affirmation shaped my path and continues to inspire me every day. Thank you to our generous sponsors and donors who once opened a door for me and who continue to uplift the next generation of women in finance.”
These nine inspiring winners will be honored at the FWSF Scholarship Awards Ceremony on May 28 in San Francisco.
