California American Water to Host Supplier Diversity Showcase

Opportunities to do Business with Company and Contractors

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--California American Water will be hosting its annual Supplier Diversity Showcase on May 6th, 2025. The event connects suppliers and provides education and increased awareness of California-American Water’s commitment to a robust supply chain.

Attending the event will be CDM Smith, a primary contractor charged with many elements of the Monterey Peninsula Water Supply Project. CDM Smith will join California American Water engineers and designers who will be both attending the showcase event and providing a site tour of the approved desalination facility north of Marina.

“This event will be a great opportunity for local and regional contractors, vendors and suppliers to learn more about California American Water” said California American Water’s Program Manager for Supplier Diversity, Alexus Russell. “Through this outreach, employers can experience firsthand opportunities for their companies to work with our company and other regional businesses.”

The event will be held at the Monterey Beach Hotel on May 6th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and admission is free.
