Crown Pointe Academy to Break Ground on New Pre-K–2nd Grade Facility in Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Crown Pointe Academy, a tuition-free public charter school of choice that has proudly served the Southwest Westminster community for the past 27 years, is excited to announce the groundbreaking of a brand-new Pre-K through 2nd grade facility. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 6th at 4:30 p.m., and all community members are invited to attend.

Located directly across the street from the current campus at 2900 W 86th Ave, the new 26,000-square-foot building marks Crown Pointe’s third major expansion and will accommodate an additional 275 students with 14 new classrooms. The expansion will also create 30 new full-time positions, further strengthening the school’s role as a high-performing school of choice for Westminster families.

The $17 million project, designed by Jeffrey Scott and the local team at EVstudio, and constructed by Roche Constructors, will be built alongside the Uplands Colorado housing development, which will add 2,200 new homes to the community in the coming years. Together, these developments reflect thoughtful investment in the educational and residential future of Westminster.

At Crown Pointe Academy, academic excellence is rooted in a Core Knowledge curriculum with a strong emphasis on math, literature, science, reading, writing, and social studies, alongside daily Spanish language instruction for all students.
